Custom implementation for your data, security and operating model

Each implementation is shaped around your data sources, sensitivity, infrastructure, workflows and decision needs.

Custom implementation

Scoped around your operating model

Some clients need a hosted solution. Others require private cloud, client-controlled infrastructure or local deployment where models run on dedicated client-owned hardware.

The deployment model is a buying decision, not a detail. We shape it around your sensitivity, budget and operational requirements.

Deployment options

Choose where each part of the system lives

Select a model to see what it is best for, who controls the data, and what to consider.

Hosted

A managed environment with lower infrastructure burden.

Best for
Teams that want a managed environment and a faster start.
Data control
Managed by the delivery team within an agreed security boundary.
Considerations
Lowest operational overhead; deployment shaped around your security requirements.

Security and governance

Designed around enterprise security needs

Causality.tools can be designed around the controls your organisation requires, including:

  • ISO 27001 certified delivery environment
  • Cyber Essentials certified
  • GDPR-aware data handling
  • Encryption
  • Audit logging
  • Role-based access control
  • Penetration testing
  • Client-controlled deployment options
  • Local LLM deployment where required
  • Human review and escalation workflows

Confidential compute

Additional protections for sensitive AI use cases

Confidential compute protects data whilst it is being processed, not merely whilst it sits in storage or moves across a network. Conventional encryption has always covered data at rest and in transit; however, computation itself required decrypting that data in memory. It is precisely this exposure that confidential compute closes.

Hardware-based secure enclaves keep sensitive information encrypted and inaccessible, even to the underlying cloud infrastructure, throughout analysis; this is verified by cryptographic attestation of the environment, not contractual assurance.

For organisations working with regulated or high-stakes data, this matters less as a technical refinement than as a structural change to what collaboration can look like. Enabling one party's model to process another party's data has always demanded a compromise: the data owner exposes their assets, the model owner exposes their intellectual property, or both place their trust in a third-party intermediary. Confidential compute removes the need for any of these concessions.

Sovereign hardware

British confidential-compute hardware, in development

Adappt is building British sovereign confidential-compute AI hardware, in collaboration with Coefficient.

The programme extends trusted execution environments beyond the cloud. The principle that governs our confidential-compute deployments — data unlocked only into an environment that has cryptographically proven what it is running — engineered into dedicated hardware, for the data room as well as the cloud.

The unit is built around a secured, tamper-resistant BIOS, designed and flashed in the UK and then fused — the write fuse blown after programming, so the firmware cannot be rewritten. Around it sits carefully sourced, attestable AMD and NVIDIA silicon, so the provenance of every layer, from firmware to GPU, becomes part of what the hardware can prove.
